Kappa optronics develops and manufactures innovative cameras for international customers in target industries such as aviation, defense and automotive. Cameras and vision systems for everything that drives and flies - here we are amongst the best in the world.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Development of the system design of cameras and vision systems
  • Support for development projects in accordance with the V-model, from requirements analysis 
  • System design, technical implementation through to review, integration and testing
  • Close co-operation with all technical specialist groups in the areas of R&D and 
  • Operations and with project management
  • Technical management of external development partners
  • Checking the technical feasibility of customer enquiries
  • Technical contact for customers during integration and acceptance activities
  • Creation of specification and certification documents
  • Collaboration in a motivated interdisciplinary project team within the Defence Land business unit
 

Your Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed studies in the MINT field
  • First experience in system engineering and functional safety
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organisational talent, interpersonal mediation skills
  • Goal-orientated and proactive way of working, communication and teamwork skills
  • Expertise in functional safety (ISO 26262, DO-254, DO-178) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of ALM/PLM systems (e.g. Polarion) an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of English,Good knowledge of German
