Your Responsibilities:

  • Technical leadership of a production team
  • Monitoring and ensuring the quality of products manufactured within the production team
  • Active participation in projects for the development of new products
  • Analysis of processes to improve quality and productivity, implementation of measures for this purpose
  • Responsibility for preparation and transition to stable series production
  • Determination and implementation of all manufacturing technologies required for production
  • Responsibility for creating project-relevant production documents
  • Representation of production interests at the production-development interface
  • Active participation in transitioning manufacturing processes to a stable series state
  • Creation and maintenance of production documentation
  • Responsibility for procurement and maintenance of production tools
  • Support for internal and external audits
  • Conducting training for production employees on relevant topics

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master degree in Automation Technology / Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or Technician or Master Craftsman
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing technologies for optoelectronic systems
  • Basic knowledge of CAD (Solid Edge) is desirable
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Experience with Lean and Six Sigma is an advantage
  • Analytical approach to problem analysis and development of solution proposals
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Independent working style and high level of initiative
  • Strong team player mentality and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration
  • Goal- and results-oriented working style
  • Proficient in MS Office programs
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken (minimum level B2)
