Your Responsibilities:

  • Development and design of system solutions for cameras and vision systems with a focus on construction-related questions, primarily for the RIB4D product for pipe interior inspection
  • Responsibility for system design throughout the entire development process (V-model) – from requirements analysis to constructive implementation, review, integration, and testing
  • Improvement of tolerance analysis and thermal design of electromechanical assemblies
  • Close collaboration with internal departments, particularly construction, electronics, software, R&D, and operations
  • Management and coordination of external development partners
  • Ensuring technical quality and on-time implementation of external and internal work packages
  • Evaluation of the technical feasibility of customer requirements with a focus on implementability
  • Central technical contact for external partners and customers during integration and acceptance phases
  • Creation and alignment of specifications as well as relevant development and certification documentation
  • Participation in interdisciplinary project teams within the Business Unit Defense Land

Your Profile:

  • Completed studies in the STEM field, ideally with a focus on mechanical engineering, construction, or a comparable field of study
  • Initial experience in system engineering as well as a solid background in construction/electrothermal design
  • Experience in collaboration with or management of external development partners is desirable
  • Structured and analytical working style as well as strong problem-solving skills
  • Organizational strength and communication skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge in functional safety (e.g., ISO 26262, DO-254, DO-178) is an advantage
  • Experience with ALM/PLM systems (e.g., Polarion) is an advantage
  • Very good English skills as well as good German skills
