Your Responsibilities:

  • Technical overall responsibility for the integration of electro-optical camera and vision systems into military land vehicles
  • Development of system and integration concepts considering vehicle architecture, operational requirements, and technical interfaces
  • Analysis, definition, and management of system requirements in coordination with customers, project teams, and partners
  • Planning and design of the integration of cameras, displays, video distributors, and other components such as windshield cleaning solutions, including installation, mounting, and cabling concepts
  • Evaluation of installation spaces, cable routes, maintainability, operability, and fields of view, as well as development of technical solutions
  • Creation and maintenance of system architectures, CAD-based integration representations, technical documentation, and interface definitions
  • Coordination of technical interfaces between electronics, mechanics, software, cabling, and vehicle architecture
  • Planning, execution, and evaluation of verification and validation activities
    Technical coordination of interdisciplinary development projects throughout the entire product lifecycle
  • Support for tenders, proposal processes, and customer projects, as well as technical consulting for customers, partners, and suppliers
  • Participation in risk, change, and configuration management, ensuring consistent system configuration

Your Profile:

  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, systems engineering, vehicle technology or completed vocational training in a comparable field or further training as a technician in the technical field
  • Several years of experience in systems engineering, system integration, or technical project management of complex technical systems
  • Experience in the defense industry, vehicle technology, or a similarly demanding environment
  • Knowledge in the integration of electronic, optical, or sensor systems into vehicles or comparable platforms
  • Very good understanding of the interaction between hardware, software, electronics, and mechanics
  • Experience in requirements engineering as well as in verification and validation processes
  • Experience in the design and integration of cable trees, cabling concepts, and technical interfaces
  • Experience with system architectures, integration concepts, and CAD systems (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or CATIA)
  • Experience in customer-oriented development projects as well as in tender and proposal processes
  • Confident demeanor with customers as well as strong communication and coordination skills
  • Knowledge in functional safety, ALM/PLM systems, and risk and configuration management is an advantage
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
  • Very good German and good English skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 40%)
