Your Responsibilities:
- Strategic management and development of key suppliers as well as establishing suitable alternative suppliers
- Analysis and management of supplier performance based on relevant KPIs, particularly regarding costs, quality, and delivery reliability
- Identification of procurement risks, dependencies, and optimization potentials, as well as deriving appropriate measures
- Preparation, negotiation, and conclusion of supplier contracts, framework agreements, and terms
- Monitoring and evaluation of procurement markets as well as development of sustainable procurement and supplier strategies
- Close collaboration with operational purchasing, quality, development, and other internal interfaces
- Regular personal exchange with suppliers, including corresponding travel activities
Your Profile:
- Completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, supply chain management, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in a manufacturing or technically oriented industrial company
- Experience in strategic supplier management and supplier development
- Confident handling of purchasing and supplier metrics as well as strong analytical and entrepreneurial thinking
- Extensive experience in contract, price, and terms negotiations
- Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as a structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
- Good German and English language skills
