Your Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for development programs in the field of vision and camera systems in military vehicles from the concept phase to series production
  • Management and coordination of interdisciplinary project teams from mechanical, electronic, software, systems, and manufacturing development
  • Creation and maintenance of project plans as well as ensuring adherence to deadlines, costs, and quality objectives
  • Identification, evaluation, and active management of technical, scheduling, and commercial risks
  • Responsibility for project budgets and the economic management of development projects
  • Close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and international partners throughout the entire product lifecycle
  • Ensuring production readiness and supporting the transition from development to series projects
  • Preparation and presentation of project statuses for management, customers, and other stakeholders
  • Management of change processes and ensuring transparent communication among all project participants
  • Continuous optimization of project management methods and development processes

Your Profile:

  • Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable technical field
  • Must: Several years of professional experience in technical project or program management in the defense, vehicle, or high-tech environment
  • Proven experience in managing complex hardware or mechatronic development projects throughout the entire product lifecycle
  • Technical understanding in the fields of mechanics, electronics, and embedded systems
  • Experience with regulatory requirements and military standards
  • Experience in collaboration with international customers, suppliers, and development partners
  • Knowledge in the areas of series transition, production ramp-ups, and product industrialization
  • Proficient in project management methods and tools for scheduling, resource, and risk management
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a structured approach
  • High communication skills and confident demeanor at all organizational levels
  • Fluent German and English skills
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 40% international travel readiness)
