Your Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and maintain quality management systems in compliance with standards such ISO 9001, EN 9100 and EMAR 145/PART 145
- Ensure compliance with specific regulations applicable to the aviation and defence sectors.
- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
- Oversee the resolution of non-conformities and coordinate action plans to prevent recurrence
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet the required quality standards
- Participate in the evaluation, selection and development of strategic suppliers to guarantee quality and continuity of supply
- Act as key contact point for customers on all quality-related matters, ensuring their satisfaction and adherence to their specific requirements
- Collaborate and team-up with production, engineering, procurement teams and any other stakeholder to implement robust quality processes and ensure they follow and apply them
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Your Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality management within the aviation and defence sector
- Advanced knowledge of international standards and regulations (ISO 9001, EN 9100 and EMAR 145/PART 145). IATF 16949 would be a plus
- Proven experience managing internal and external audits
- Demonstrable experience in managing supplier and customer relationships, including audits and negotiations.
- Willingness to travel to our headquarters in Germany, as well as to the sites of our suppliers and customers
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and manage multidisciplinary teams
Native Spanish and advance level of English (written and spoken). German will be also highly valued - Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodologies
- Academic background in Engineering, Sciences or related fields. (Quality certification would be a plus)
- Reporting to the Director of Kappa optronics S.L. and the Head of Quality of Kappa optronics GmbH and must resident a maximum of commuting distance of 35 minutes from Madrid-Barajas Airport area
