Kappa optronics develops and manufactures innovative cameras for major international customers in the fields of aviation, defense and vision solutions for industrial and automotive applications. In the field of tailorized mirror-replacement-systems Kappa is the global technology leader. We are looking for you to join our logistics team on a full-time or part-time basis.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conducting incoming goods inspections (mechanics & electronics)
  • Entering articles in the device database
  • Creating test programs for automated testing
  • Active participation and support in the defect reporting process
  • Active participation in creating and maintaining test documents
  • Test equipment monitoring
  • Cross-departmental collaboration and communication
  • Reworking of mechanical parts (manually and by machine)
  • Support with other activities within the logistics team

Your Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed vocational training in a metalworking or electrical engineering occupation
  • Several years of professional experience in incoming goods inspection or similar areas
  • Experience in quality inspection desirable
  • Confident handling of PDM systems, ERP systems, technical drawings and measuring equipment
  • Analytical thinking and a structured way of working
  • Physical resilience
  • Class B driver's license required
  • Good knowledge of how to use Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
