Your Tasks:
- Development of Image and Data Processing Modules in VHDL
- Functional verification of modules and functional blocks using simulation (OSVVM, Riviera‑PRO)
- Integration of third-party IP cores into custom designs
- Designing, assembling and constraining Image Processing Systems using Custom and 3rd Party IPs based on present solutions
- Debugging using embedded Tools like SignalTap or ILA
- Use of laboratory equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters
- Collaborative FPGA design using a version control tool
- Creation of standardized documentation for module/system development and verification
- Contributing in Project-Level requirement Engineering
- Close cooperation with Team of FPGA engineers
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a comparable field required
- Previous industry-level experience as an FPGA designer
- Proficient VHDL skills and familiarity with typical FPGA workflows (development, verification, IP integration, timing and pin constraining)
- Experience with Altera Quartus Prime
- Ability to work independently on module-level tasks
- Targeted and structured working style
- Strong interest in developing functionally safe image processing systems
- Customer orientation, communication, and teamwork skills
- High level of commitment, initiative, and willingness to learn
- Proficient English skills, both written and spoken
Beneficial:
- Experience with TCL scripting for tool automation
- Experience with MATLAB or Python for co-simulation
- Experience with AMD Vivado/Vitis
- Experience with FPGA‑based processors (hard/soft cores or external MCUs)
- Experience with SoC workflows (Linux, Device Tree, build systems)
- Knowledge of image sensors, usual interface standards and digital image processing
