Your Tasks:

  • Development of Image and Data Processing Modules in VHDL
  • Functional verification of modules and functional blocks using simulation (OSVVM, Riviera‑PRO)
  • Integration of third-party IP cores into custom designs
  • Designing, assembling and constraining Image Processing Systems using Custom and 3rd Party IPs based on present solutions
  • Debugging using embedded Tools like SignalTap or ILA
  • Use of laboratory equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters
  • Collaborative FPGA design using a version control tool
  • Creation of standardized documentation for module/system development and verification
  • Contributing in Project-Level requirement Engineering
  • Close cooperation with Team of FPGA engineers

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a comparable field required
  • Previous industry-level experience as an FPGA designer
  • Proficient VHDL skills and familiarity with typical FPGA workflows (development, verification, IP integration, timing and pin constraining)
  • Experience with Altera Quartus Prime
  • Ability to work independently on module-level tasks
  • Targeted and structured working style
  • Strong interest in developing functionally safe image processing systems
  • Customer orientation, communication, and teamwork skills
  • High level of commitment, initiative, and willingness to learn
  • Proficient English skills, both written and spoken

Beneficial:

  • Experience with TCL scripting for tool automation
  • Experience with MATLAB or Python for co-simulation
  • Experience with AMD Vivado/Vitis
  • Experience with FPGA‑based processors (hard/soft cores or external MCUs)
  • Experience with SoC workflows (Linux, Device Tree, build systems)
  • Knowledge of image sensors, usual interface standards and digital image processing
