Starting around 1 February 2026 (or later), we are looking for an engineer (all genders) on a full-time or part-time basis (20-40 hours per week).
Your Responsibilities:
- Design of optronic systems in the visible and infrared range within interdisciplinary project teams
- Analysis of customer requirements and implementation in the system concept
- Qualification and measurement of electro-optical components and cameras according to the EMVA1288 standard
- Expansion and automation of optical measurement setups and their evaluation
- Optimization and configuration of image signal processing of cameras in image signal processors
- Simulation of imaging signal chains
- Evaluation of the latest sensor technologies regarding their suitability for our products
- Collaboration in a motivated development team within the Platforms department
Your Qualifications:
- Successfully completed studies in sensor technology, physics, electrical engineering, or a comparable field of study
- Basic knowledge in optics and image sensor technology
- Knowledge in image processing and signal processors
- Initial practical professional experience in the field of optical measurement technology is desirable
- Basic programming skills in MATLAB and/or Python
- Structured, goal-oriented, and quality-conscious working style
- High analytical competence, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- High commitment, initiative, and willingness to learn
- Proficient knowledge of English, both written and spoken
