Your Responsibilities:

  • Development and optimization of analog and digital circuits for advanced electronic systems, considering signal integrity, EMC, safety, and manufacturing requirements
  • Creation of circuit diagrams and PCB layouts using modern EDA tools (e.g., Altium Designer)
  • Design and analysis of high-speed interfaces as well as conducting signal and power integrity evaluations
  • Development and optimization of EMC-compliant designs to ensure electromagnetic compatibility (EMI/EMC)
  • Conducting analog, thermal, and RF simulations to secure the development process
  • Selection and qualification of electronic components in close coordination with procurement, production, and suppliers
  • Conducting design reviews and supporting verification, commissioning, troubleshooting, and validation of prototypes
  • Documentation of development activities and maintenance of development records and bills of materials (BOM)

Your Profile:

  • Completed master’s degree in electrical engineering, information technology, or a comparable field
  • Solid knowledge in analog and digital circuit technology as well as PCB design
  • Experience in the development of electronic assemblies with a focus on signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC-compliant design
  • Proficiency in using measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes and vector network analyzers
    Good knowledge in analyzing and optimizing high-speed interfaces as well as analog circuits
  • Practical experience with EDA software (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence, KiCad, or similar)
  • Experience with simulation tools for circuit, EMC, signal, or RF analysis is an advantage
  • Structured, independent working style as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; German skills are an advantage

 

Desirable Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with EMC pre-compliance measurements and preparation of formal qualification tests
  • Knowledge of relevant EMC and environmental standards, for example:
    - MIL-STD-461
    - DO-160
    - VG 95373
  • Experience with robust onboard network requirements according to:
    - MIL-STD-1275
    - VG 96916
    - ISO 16750
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and quality standards IPC-A-600 and IPC-A-610
  • Experience in developing electronics for military, industrial, aviation, or other safety-critical applications
