Kappa optronics develops and manufactures innovative cameras for major international customers in the fields of aviation, defense and vision solutions with a focus on automotive applications. Kappa is key system supplier in some major programs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Creation of designs for complex camera systems as well as the associated detailed designs
  • Work from early concept down to prototype approval
  • Creation of manufacturing drawings acc. to ISO-GPS
  • Selection of materials and components according to constructional and economical aspects
  • Qualification of our products (plan, operate, report)
  • Production transition and support in series production
  • Close cooperation with the circuitry/layout department

Your Qualifications:

  • Completed studies in mechanical engineering/fine mechanics or equivalent training
  • Several years of professional experience in 3D CAD design, ideally with Solid Edge ST9
  • Basic knowledge in the field of EMC-compliant design
  • Basic knowledge in the field of FEM
  • Confident appearance and strong communication skills
  • Knowledge in aviation technology is a plus
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Good commercial and technical English
