Kappa optronics develops and manufactures innovative cameras for major international customers in the fields of aviation, defense and vision solutions with a focus on automotive applications. With visual surveillance of the air to air refuelling Kappa is the global technology leader and won the Innovation Award of Airbus Defense and Space in 2019. Kappa is key system supplier in some major programs.
 
The combined work-study program at Kappa combines academic studies at the HAWK Göttingen with intensive practical phases in our company. In contrast to a dual study program with a Chamber of Industry and Commerce degree, the practical part here takes place exclusively as a practical phase.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Participation in lectures and seminars at the university to acquire theoretical knowledge in the field of engineering
  • Involvement in real projects and tasks in the company to gain practical experience and apply the knowledge acquired
  • Support in the development and implementation of technical solutions
  • Involvement in interdisciplinary teams and projects

Your Qualifications:

  • A-levels or advanced technical college certificate with good grades in mathematics, physics, computer science and technical subjects
  • A passion for solving technical and engineering problems
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team and good communication skills
  • Initiative and motivation to continuously develop
